Artificial General Intelligence–A Debate in Sentience

When the term 'Artificial General Intelligence' (AGI) is thrown into conversation, there arises a unique blend of excitement, apprehension, and debate. AGI can be described as an artificial agent that possesses an intelligence level akin to those of humans in all aspects, with a crucial feature being "sentience"—the ability to experience subjective experiences similarly to humans.
