Qubit, or quantum bit, constitutes the fundamental building block of quantum computing, working in quantum binary digits (0 and 1) simultaneously. The alliance has resulted in the inception of several "logical qubits," which have proven to be more stable while holding different states. This invariably leads to a system of more reliable quantum computing.

This breakthrough comes with Microsoft and Quantinuum developing a qubit-virtualization system that considerably ameliorates the error rate. Remarkably, the rate is improved by a factor of 800 over physical qubits.
